Local Love: Antique Naked Soul

As sisters who harmonize, we’re jonesin’ over this group, AntiqueNaked Soul.  This powerhouse a capella beat-box band can be seen at Oakland’s Studio Grand on January 31; $8-12 sliding scale donation.

Via Studio Grand: Oakland Indie Award and Oaktown Music Festival nominee Antique Naked Soul is an Oakland based independent all-vocal beat-boxing band featuring singer/songwriter Antique, renown beat-boxer Tommy “Soulati” Shepherd and two singers Jayme Brown and N’gala McCoy. Antique Naked Soul just released a self-titled album available at Antique.Bandcamp.com. Oakland Local reported that, "Antique Naked Soul is as creatively exhilarating an album as anything that’s come out of Oakland in a long time."
