Oakland native Dr. Edwin Hawkins died Monday, January 15, 2018 of pancreatic cancer. In tribute, we are sharing with you 'Oh, Happy Day'. The crossover single catapulted Mr. Hawkins very successful Contemporary Gospel career, inspiring a new genre of inspirational music.
