This year has started off with a BANG!

First off, thanks to those who attended the Office Open House. For those who didn't, you missed it. Business cards were passing all over the room from fashion designers, publicists, musicians, event planners and conventioneers. Name the career-it was probably in the house. Look for more events from Black Pearl later this year.

Kudos to Ghetto Retro artist Baby Jaymes. STREETS feat. The Jacka, is holding steady in the top 100's of the California Music Channel video charts, as well as being seen in places all over the world. Don't sleep!  You can check out the video on CMC by requesting it on their website: http://www.cmc-tv.com/requests.htm You can also dial 1.800.286.5CMC. Find out more about

Studio 92 Music trains young adults interns persuing multimedia careers in music. A group of studennts from Youth for Peace collaborated with Studio 92 to create a music video: THOUGHTS FROM ABOVE. Says De'Vaughn a Youth for Peace member, "We wrote the song and filmed the music video to encourage people to think about their actions and understand the consequences of their behavior before it is too late."  The group dedicates the video to those killed in violence.
